From humble beginnings to storied career, Walter Coelho wooed hearts, blazed trails, and served as sage mentor and friend to many. Born in a wooded meadow in the north central suburbs of Minneapolis, with mother and sister by his side, Walter found himself at the proverbial crossroads. A future bleak. A future uncertain. Yet as these stories go, fate would intervene. It took the most undignified of stage prop photos to serve as a matchmaking stroke of genius and lead our beloved Walter to choose the deepest, most loving and unconditional of companionships the world has ever known. He chose her. From there, Walter spent his formative years overseeing the edgy, avant-garde streets of Minneapolis' Whittier neighborhood. Whether during his rebellious, bad boy, teen years, or his swift blossom into debonair, scholarly, ladies-man-about-town, Walter never failed to capture attention. He never failed to bring life affirming spirit to the fore. He bounced from enterprise-to-enterprise. From late night back ally shenanigans to deep day time dreams resplendent in the sun. But soon he found his family expanding. And with it, a change. St. Paul came a calling. Walter answered. From his perch on the back porch, he stood guard over a serene, verdant, but highly trafficked, estate. King of his domain. Fittingly crowned king. The days since have been grand. The naps many. The head kisses frequent. And life abundantly sweet.
